From: abuse@[redacted] To: [redacted]@dhl[redacted] Subject: Re: dhlsucks.com Dear DHL, thanks for sending us an e-mail about your concerns about our domain name dhlsucks.com. We usually prefer getting these legal threats in physical form but we are aware of the skillset your company lacks in order to get physical letters delivered to it's destination. I think you can agree with us that it's nice having electronic mail, so much more efficient, dependable, environmentally friendly and cheap than shipping services are. Now, we'd like to know more about your complaint, are you saying that your company is so famously sucky that you have been granted the immaterial right for sucking? We are not sure we disagree with that statement, but we could of course feel we need to have proof that you're not just some scammer trying to take our stuff and not deliver, oh wait, I see. You're DHL, so that's basically what you do... By the way, you do know that it's against the law to take payment without delivering? Please get back to us within 1-18 months with a properly filled form for the complaint, that we will handle with the same expediency and care as your company does with our complaints when packages does not arrive. Don't get your hopes up (it's what you've taught us). Regards, Njalla

I didn’t know where to put it. I chose Privacy board, because there were posts here about Njalla before - and also because that it’s not a “meme”. Yeah… but it’s funny, though.

If you don’t know Njalla - please search for other topics related to them. You will be satisfied. And that’s bring us to the question - do we deserve it? :)

Holy shit, Njalla came out swinging right out of the gate.

This is the best response to court trethening I have ever seen. Everyone who hosts privacy related services should reply like this to such emails.

Only thing I can add to this is: Based Njalla

Someone here works at DHL it seems…

Totally clutch for DHL, the response was nice but feisty. Upvotes for everyone here because we all know DHL sucks and makes money on behalf of their honest working people.

DHL is the service used by Pine64 to send packages internationally.

I tried to buy a piece in two different times and DHL tried to make me pay 100€ more because I lived in the Canary Islands. Likely 34 of that quantity was because my Zip code was classified as a “remote area” by them.

They have also lost packages in shipments from things I bought in other store.

They also “accidentally” shipped an entire batch of Pinephones to New Zealand one time

I think it is the best thing I’ve read in a really really long time

Sadly dhlsucks.com seems to be down

Little known fact on the side: Njalla can only be that cocky because they’re incorporated in a “tax haven” in which it is incredibly hard for authorities to enforce law. People usually hate on these type of schemes because they feel like bigwigs are robbing them of their money using such structures. However, instead, people should try to learn about these setups in order to be able to use these tools to their advantage, e.g. to do things like Njalla on their own.

Ok, so you say that they are “cocky” because they are in a “tax heaven” and it sounds like they’re quite lame and just making use from advantage… but this advantage didn’t fell from the sky. They were working for some time to gain it - and probably they made some good decisions on the way. I got your point, it’s a good info to be known - but please don’t name a good choices made by ordinary people against law authorities " being cocky". It never will be an equal fight against governments - you can be “cocky” on 4chan talking about new anime - but this is what they’re doing for life, you know.

Second thing: you’re totally right about second part. And I think that this kind of behaviour can motivate people to make some steps further and learn something. That’s how it works, I suppose.
