if he ends up being extradited this will be the biggest fuck you to journalism (and like basic human rights) worldwide by fascist pigs in the uk and the us, hopefully the british public will do something about it
This was already the appeal (of the US side though). There is a fake political “supreme court” that was only created to over-rule politically sensitive cases that in theory could still be appealed to, but that is basically wasted effort with the current UK government in place according to the sources I have.
Edit: the actual process seems to be that with this successful appeal of the US side, the lower court has to redo the case again now, which likely means a few more months/years of solitary confinement for Assange in a UK prison :(
This is a message to everyone trying to expose government crimes, you tell the truth, you will get labeled. you will be jailed, killed and we will keep you on run. Remember, Julian Assange exposed something related to US defense system which affected the private defense industries + to many things, at this point you reached the no going-back point. they will get you even if you leave the planet.
My understanding is that the man is not a US citizen, and that he has never stepped foot on US soil. Considering those two facts, how can he be charged with espionage (at least within the US) at all? It was pretty clear from the beginning that the Swedish charges were horseshit and just fabricated to attempt to extradite him through a friendly government, and sure enough now that those have been thrown to the wayside they’re just trying a more direct approach.

If Assange revealed the same crimes in China then he’d be getting a Nobel Prize right about now.
And this is the reason Assange is being tortured.

Impressive, I would say. It reveals the true murderous and inhuman fascist face of Anglosphere that grifts about human rights, democracy, journalistic integrity and press freedom.
There has also been clear evidence, for those not in the know, that Assange was drugged heavily during his time in UK jail. This was revealed via the phone call from his friend/family. His voice was beyond slurry.
This will be bloody.
