So, my PC is built with RST literally unable to be disabled. (I've tried, trust me. I've followed every tutorial online and reply on my help posts to no avail. I'm pretty sure it's impossible.) I currently don't have the funds, nor any reason, to buy a new PC. It still works just fine, but Windows is becoming increasingly pushy about switching to 11. I really wanted to switch to Mint, but seeing as how it's apparently impossible, I'm not sure what to do.
Is there anything that can be done physically inside the PC to fix the "untouchable RST" issue? I'm not a massive techie, and I'm worried about ruining my PC since, like I said before, I don't have the money to get a new one, but if there's a fairly safe/easy way to fix this, if any way exists at all, does anybody know?
Apologies for my ignorance. I'd like to learn more about PCs and Linux, too, so I'm hoping this will explain things as well, even if I don't fully grasp it yet.
Ahhh, that must be what people meant; the Microsoft thing.
