Time is a concept which comprises of events. Things don’t happen on their own and cash is of course the thing lacking but “support” is the wrong word here. Free software should earn cash!

I prefer scientific journalism. I need some proper document or some video. I don’t trust Aftab Ahmed, Manoj Kumar and Krishna Das. As far as I know, India already has bought cheap oil when last oil prices went down in covid. India bought futures then. Also, Mukesh Ambani, an Indian investor has quite some stake in Aramco. Ofc, it can be but not over words of some people whose job is to print such stories. I prefer being uncertain.

There’s no point of using tor browser while using archtorify. I haven’t tried such a thing. Tor Browser additionally protects against fingerprinting which archtorify does not. You’ll be able to do that by restarting archtorify using “archtorify -r”.

What archtorify does is it sets up iptables and a systemd service so that everything goes by default through tor. Installation shown in wiki.

I’ve installed more than 15 different OSes more than 100 times. The OS which I typically recommend, Trisquel KDE, is incredibly easy to install. It’s somewhat difficult to use however. If you want something extremely simple even for use, go for Kubuntu.

I personally use tutanota but it relies too much on JS and a really important feature in email, search sucks!

I recommend Trisquel. Use plasma DE for sure, it provides amazing user experience. Tell her to not expect things exactly like those of Windows or Mac and learn till she becomes comfortable. Initially she’ll struggle, later she won’t even think of using Windows or Mac.

As long as free software stays incompatible with capitalism, this is gonna happen. Proprietary software earns money and is self-dependent whereas free software depends on charity.

Communication across different server doesn’t mean centralized. Without communication, there would be a million servers with 5 people on each server.

Absolutely. The whole point of ads is to earn money and survive. That’s definitely an option!
