Amazon improperly collects and stores consumers' biometric data through its Alexa voice-based virtual assistant devices.

We all knew they were doing this. I mean, when you see these devices being sold almost for free, you know something is up. I was kind of bewildered when I saw people in my family getting them because they’re not even that useful and they are obviously spying on you.

I even got one as a Christmas present a while ago and I just don’t understand the point of it. I just keep it muted and use it as a Bluetooth speaker occasionally. I haven’t bothered to reset it up since I moved either.

I wish there where devices like them but open-source. I don’t have much experience with them but I wish I could control music etc with voice commands

Yeah, but is it any good?

Its alright
