Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word “Linux” in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

anyway, this is too expensive. I am hearing for the first time about a laptop dedicated for machine learning.
I don’t really see the point of such laptop.
Most prototyping can be performed on a potato. Training complex models takes hours/days which seems incompatible with laptop usage : mobility.
I would personally buy $3000 of desktop/server, $300 refurbished thinkpad/dell and put the rest in a screen, keyboard, etc.
Those laptop will probably be bought buy companies to give their “data scientist” nice toy to play with.
