I’m trying to install linux alongside windows. Right now I have windows installed on legacy mode. I’m following this that assumes I’m using UEFI mode so I want to reinstall windows in UEFI mode and then install linux. When I try to install windows it says that I’m running on Legacy Mode and that I need to change to UEFI mode. I don’t remember how I changed from UEFI mode to Legacy mode and I don’t see the option anywhere. This is the manual of the motherboard: https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_b450m-ds3h_e_1101.pdf

I think what I have to change may be the CSM Support.

“Storage Boot Option Control” page 27 , may not be visible depending on “CSM” setting (same page)

Maybe you can change it in bios?

It could be that you need to change the partition on the disk as well, with a special program, like they say in the article above.
