I’ve installed a few LSPs. I want to install all the popular ones to do it once and forget about it. So which ones do you have installed?

install_neovim_lsp() {
  sudo npm i -g cssmodules-language-server vscode-langservers-extracted sql-language-server typescript typescript-language-server bash-language-server
  pip install pyright
}

It’s tangential, but what’s helped me has been this plugin https://github.com/williamboman/nvim-lsp-installer/.

Makes it very easy to install, find, and update any language server available for neovim

Unsure what went wrong on my end, but I spent a good 5h trying to get the native LSP implementation running, and the only language that worked wasn’t installed by Nvim Lsp Installer. Figured I’ll cut my losses and allow CoC’s bloat in to my life until I’m able to have a second go at it.

If it helps you see my init.vim. Just a reminder to add ~/.local/share/nvim/lsp_servers to your $PATH so that any installed through the nvim-lsp-installer plugin are found.

Thanks, I’ll bookmark it for later!

clangd for C/C++ (via portage), gopls for go (via go), texlab for LaTeX (via cargo).

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word “Linux” in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.
