The drop-down menu, when selecting a community to post to, tends to be unreliable; the community I want to post to won’t always appear.
I wish the community drop-down menu was a text-area instead; then I can type in the community to post to if the drop-down menu can’t display the community.

I experience this as well, the drop down menu is unreliable. It’s only been like this since recently though
It seems the search field searches for more than just the community name, e.g. when I search for Test it finds a lot of names but it also finds the community “Test”. It is probably easier to bookmark or subscribe a community when you post to it repeatedly (or remember the URL to type it)
