It’s a decent article but I think it could’ve benefitted from more concrete examples, in particular of this claim:

For visually impaired users, this might mean laying out information in a more logical sense than in a spatial sense.

Yeah, I actually read recently that blind people do use a graphical interface with some tools.

Not sure if that is just because they are pretty much forced to do it and got used to it, or because it is genuinely better suited for their needs, but the braille reader terminal interface seems to be not the preferred option.
