A „baniak” (about 11kg of propane-butane in a big metal container) has went up SIGNIFICANTLY since the war.
My father and I bought 2 for the price of 67zł knowing they will spike, and sure enough the next day they cost exactly 100zł from the guy we bought them. Before Covid a baniak was like 50-60 zł.
Our inflation also hits hard on everything else :')
It all circles back to 4chan… So, there was this schizophrenic software developer name Terry A. Davis. Apparently, he was asked by God to create the third temple for him in the form of an operating system with very strict requirements set by God. So skipping past most of that stuff. 4chan loves him and a quote goes popular, like really fucking popular that it’s part of internet lingo now. Racism time.
„The CIA n*ggers glow in the dark, you can see them if you’re driving. You just run them over, that’s what you do.”
And so, calling federal agents „glowies” began.
He was loved by 4chan because he kind of mirrored them, and their knowledge of the world. Poor man was also schizophrenic which didn’t help, and I think he was also somewhat the spark for „schizo” memes. An internet legend, but that’s all he is.
If you have a Xiaomi phone, the built in file manager has an FTP data transfer option. This is my preferred way of transferring files between my computer and phone, as it’s quicker than USB 2.0 and because it’s very universal. OpenBSD, most Linux distributions and even Windblows can use it without any external software which is nice.
And if you don’t have a Xiaomi phone, feel free to try out other suggestions. I just wanted to chip in.
To consider lives of our political opponents without any value, is idiotic in itself. Those are living, breathing and thinking human beings. Just because they are propagandized doesn’t put them below us. No one is immune to propaganda and it’s hard work to be free from it’s clutches. Especially moral propaganda, as it can be very difficult to overcome for many. That includes me, I’m a sensitive person to human suffering and all of the Ukrainian refugees in my city affect me strongly. To the point I may sometimes forget many atrocities being possible false flags, and/or used as tools for spreading Russo-phobia. I’m trying my best though to approach propaganda without this veil over my eyes, but because others have problems or even can’t take the veil off doesn’t make them idiots. It means they need help to understand what is going on.
Thus I believe proper education is always the best option and thus we must fight propaganda to help these „idiots” see truth. Unfortunately it’s not a tool that always works[1] and other preferably non violent methods should be employed, like reeducation camps[2] (after the revolution of course) for the more propagandized. For the extreme types work camps or imprisonment should be sufficient. Employing executions ought to always be the last option for the most cruel and despicable of enemies[3].
In the current times the best we can do is educate and influence communities. Action is very important as well, as for most it speaks louder than words. So remember to go outside (lol), hold strikes, employ unions, attend protests and strengthen worker solidarity[4]. We ought to be their („idiots”) friends, not enemies like the mainstream media wants us to be.
We have far more in common with average liberals than with those that spike them against us, so to spike ourselves against them is playing into the medias hands.
[1] See fascists themselves, or self proclaimed ex-nazis. (This is just a single post, on c/Genzedong@lemmygrad.ml we have more dunking on Azov Something)
[2] Even if forced, they can work well. An example would be China’s last emperor Puyi.
[3] For example Henry Kissinger would fall under this category, but not your average propagandized liberal.
[4] For example, fight this crap, and show them you want to better lives.
Literally my thought.
