I think it’s easier to justify the necessary evil of managing corporate social media than it is to navigate which Libre platforms they should and should not support. Ideally the Fediverse would sidestep those kinds of concerns but that’s probably idealistic

Until people figure out how to make individual instances distinct, there’s not much reason. I think instance-only communities and private instances are a neat step in this direction

Nah. There are devices on the market that specifically market that their processor is compatible with embedded Windows. It’s a specific version of Windows iirc
