Collapse, in this context, refers to the significant loss of an established level or complexity towards a much simpler state. It can occur differently within many areas, orderly or chaotically, and be willing or unwilling. It does not necessarily imply human extinction or a singular, global event. Although, the longer the duration, the more it resembles a ‘decline’ instead of collapse.

Thanks for posting this. I always feel like I’m going insane. I talk to my therapist about it but he just doesn’t seem to acknowledge that shit is going to happen.
Its funny how he talks about the “collapse of human civilization”, when whats happening is just the collapse of the US empire. Empires collapse regularly, and most people will be better off afterwards.
I think you are right if consider some other countries like US provinces (like in the ancient Roman Empires). For example, my country, Catalonia, is a colony of Spain, a province of the US empire :-)
Russia and China are not provinces of this Empire, but its counterparts, but the rule in Capitalism too.
I think it’s not the US empire what is collapsing, but the Capitalism: a very efficient system to extract resources and use them to grown / get stronger.
