What I’ve used so far:
I don’t really like the MacOS feel, so things like ElementaryOS are not an option. I’m eyeing Pop!_OS though, but maybe there are less known distros that are worth a try. Suggestions?
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word “Linux” in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

Definitely try Pop!_OS! It has a very usable and fast desktop environment and comes with a well maintained software manager.
I’ve been using it for more than a month after I made that post. Its great, I like it a lot. The software manager is usable, but still the worst part of the system, like all the Linux distros I’ve used.
