I have been learning a lot thanks to Lemmy and the people behind it, so I wanted to contribute a bit back by making some easy-to-follow video tutorials.

I have also made the same video in Spanish: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h50M6jYZ8YU

As a beginner myself, I do have a level of concern that I might teach something incorrectly, or that I might expose others to security risks and liabilities. I hope that these concerns are not well-founded, but I am open to criticism!

Bad bot
Where did you find Youtube videos? Is every “tube” a “youtube” for you? Let find the source code for your criteria.
@Arsen6331@lemmygrad.ml how is this bot configured? Also, maybe instead of suggesting multiple invidious instances, suggest farside.link

wait what, this isn’t even my post. Why did I think that bot replied to me? Something must have gone wrong somewhere.

Just for the record, you won’t find the source code for that because it’s not hardcoded. I made it configurable via a config file. You can see that file in the spoiler at the bottom of this post

There’s been some fuckery of comments appearing under the wrong post sometimes since the software update. I don’t know how to reproduce it, but I’ve seen it and I think others have too.

Overlaps somewhat with /c/floss_replacement and /c/privacy; crossposts welcome
