It looks like a mastodon alternative. I’m not sure why anyone would use it, or if it’s even fediverse. It might be equivalent to [matrix] as fediverse, aka if matrix is fedi, then yarn.social might be fedi.

It’s not ActivityPub, so that may not qualify as fediverse unless there’s a bridge or something.
You might consider filing an issue in their tracker to add ActivityPub support. AP was discussed in 2 issues before, and as a result the maintainer joined the fedi at @prologic@mastodon.mills.io. See:
